1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Vector Craft ("the App") at art.schoedel.design, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Vector Craft is a free, AI-powered tool that generates SVG vector art from text prompts. The App uses Google's Gemini API to generate content. Users must provide their own Gemini API key to use the generation features.

3. Account & Authentication

You must sign in with a valid Google account to use the App.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and your Gemini API key.
You must not share your account access with others.

4. API Key Responsibility

You are responsible for obtaining and managing your own Gemini API key from Google AI Studio.
Your API key is stored locally in your browser. We do not access, store, or manage your API key.
Any usage charges or quota limitations from Google's Gemini API are your responsibility.
You must comply with Google's Gemini API Terms of Service.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App to generate illegal, harmful, or abusive content
Attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App's source code beyond what is publicly available
Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation

6. Generated Content

SVG artwork generated through the App is created by Google's Gemini AI model using your prompts.
You retain rights to use generated SVGs for personal and commercial purposes, subject to Google's Gemini API usage policies.
We make no guarantees about the uniqueness, originality, or fitness of generated content for any particular purpose.
Generated content may be stored in your account for history and re-download purposes.

7. Rate Limits

Free users: 5 generations per 72-hour rolling window
Client users: 25 generations per 24-hour rolling window (by invitation)
Limits are subject to change at our discretion.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated SVGs will meet your requirements.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Schoedel Design shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, API charges, or business interruption.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. You may stop using the App at any time.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the state where Schoedel Design operates.
